Most think chair yoga is for those not ready for regular yoga class and it is! But it is also for those of you with either body imbalances or recovering from injuries.

Measure your current chair and aim to have the diameter of the ball be about 4 inches (10.2 cm) higher than your current chair.
The first part of this class will be flowing through the joints and muscles to create balance. The second half of this class will be geared towards releasing tension in the mind and body. Be sure to have a space to do your practice yoga blocks some blankets or towels A strap You might also like a bolster or couch cushion

This is a Beginner Ball Yoga class gentle yet effective class is designed to keep you moving and thriving. We use yoga therapy to encourage range of motion while building strength & balance. Mindfulness & meditation practices round out this holistic wellness practice. You need a ball.
Yoga Flow with Cindy is a mindful practice of connecting the poses and using our breath for a transformative and balancing effect. Classes build heat, endurance, flexibility and strength. This class weaves in a lot of yoga therapy and has a lot of downward dog in it.
Restorative Yoga welcomes all levels of ability with a focus on foundation. Invigorating poses as well as calming restorative poses are taught with a wonderful mix of gentle, therapeutic and restorative yoga. We use yoga props to gently increase range of motion, strength, and balance, increase flexibility in the joints and simplify the yoga movements so the healthful, calming, restorative benefits of yoga are accessible to everyone. This class is beneficial to decompress.
It is customary in yogic and Buddhist traditions to support teachers through the practice of Dana, or the spiritual act of giving from the heart for teachings that you value.
Suggested donation for live classes is a sliding scale of $5 - $18. Your donations support the cost of holding the classes. Once that cost is covered 10% will go to a local charity.
